Deliver me, O Lord, as Thou didst deliver the Blessed Virgin and Martyr St. Thecla from most cruel torment, so vouchsafe to deliver me. Amen.
P.S: St. Thecla, Virgin and Martyr was put in chains in a dungeon, delivered from fire, snakes, from lions and many other dangers. She actually died a natural death. She is called a Martyr because she would have been Martyred several times had not God delivered her out of each situation to use her, showing His power and mercy.
